[김대응칼럼 21] 친구다운 친구를 찾기 위한 기도 a prayer for finding a friend of one's own 그 사람이 어떤 사람인지를 알려면 그 사람의 친구를 보면 알 수 있다. 그 사람이 어떤 사람인지를 알려면 그 사람이 말하는 것을 바르게 들으면 알 수 있다. 더 정확히 그 사람을 알려면 그 사람이 한 말과 행동이 일치하는지를 맞추어보면 알 수 있다. 사람은 사람과의 관계 속에서 살아간다. 사람이 주변에 많이 있는 사람은 행복하다.  You can tell by looking at a person's friend if you want to know who he is. If you know what the person is, you can tell by hearing what he or she is saying correctly. If you want to know the person more accurately, you can tell if what he or she has said and what he or she has done. One lives in a relationship with a person. He who has many people around is happy. 더 행복한 사람은 그들 중에 가족처럼 지내는 친구가 있으면 더 좋다. 더 행복한 사람은 친구이면서 가족 이상으로 함께할 수 있는 관계이면 이 세상에서 가장 좋은 것을 얻은 행복자이다. 누구나 그런 이상향의 친구를 원한다. 내가 그런 친구를 원한다면 나도 그런 친구가 될 수 있도록 상대방에게 다가가는 노력과 소통이 필요하다.  A happier person is preferable to have a family friend among them. 친구는 오래된 친구가 진국이다. My friend is Jin-guk, an old friend. 어렸을 때부터 한결같이 곁에 있는 친구가 좋다. 세월이 지나도 언제나 변함없이 곁에 있는 친구. 어려운 일을 당해도 곁에 있어주는 친구. 좋은 일이 있을 때 같이 기뻐해주는 친구. 외로울 때도 그냥 곁에 있어주는 친구. 이런 친구가 친구다. 의식하지 않아도 편하게 믿어주는 친구. 호시탐탐 기회를 노려 무엇인가 이득을 취하려고 그때만 나타났다 사라지는 친구라는 이름을 가진 친구는 가짜 친구다. 무슨 일이 있어도 연락하고, 무슨 일이 없어도 연락하는 친구가 친구다.  I like friends who have always been around since I was young. a friend who is always by his side over the years A friend who stays with you even when you're in trouble. A friend who rejoices when something good happens. A friend who stays with me even when I feel lonely.
