오늘의 시/ 가을에는 감사한다

Today's Poetry/ Thank you in autumn

[옥수수밭에 강냉이가 익어간다]

가을에는

in autumn

한가위가 돌아온다

Hangawi is coming back

넉넉한 가운데 날을 맞아

in the midst of plenty, on the occasion of the day

우리 모두 넉넉한 마음이 된다

We all have enough hearts

모든 시름을 잊고

over all one's troubles

서로 만날 날을 고대하며

Looking forward to seeing each other

온갖 것을 준비하며

in all sorts of arrangements

고향으로 돌아갈 마음에 들떠있다

be excited to go home

우리 마음을 움직이는 이 날,

The day we move our minds,

우리는 들뜬 동심으로

We're excited childlike about it.

가을에 하나님이 주신 풍성함으로

God's bounty in the fall

가족과 이웃과 친지들에게

To the family, to the neighbors, to the relatives

넉넉함을 베푸는 마음이 넓어진다

I feel more generous

가을에는

in autumn

한가위가 돌아온다

Hangawi is coming back

고향으로 가는 길 돌아오는 길

On my way home the way back

다 들뜬 동심으로 우리는 감사할 줄 안다
