실천하는 자, 그는 기독교인

기독교인의 특징은 기도하는 것이라고 해도 과언이 아니다. 기도는 홀로 골방에서 하는 것이다. 아무도 모르게 하는 것이다. 나는 기도한다. 나는 하루에 몇 시간 기도한다. 나는 40일 금식기도 했다. “나는 기도했다.”고 말하는 것은 자랑이나 마찬가지이다. 자신의 의로움을 드러내는 것이다. 나는 믿음이 이 정도의 사람이야 하고 거만을 떠는 것이다. 기도한 것은 하나님과 자신과의 비밀이다. 무슨 기도를 했는지 말할 필요도 없다. 언제 기도했는지, 몇 시간을 기도했는지 그것도 이야기할 필요도 없다. 기도는 자신의 덕을 쌓는 것이다. 

사람에게 보이려고, 사람에게 알리려고 하는 기도는 위선인 것이다. 그런 기도를 바리새인들이 했다고 성경은 말씀하고 있다. 마태복음 6장 5절에 “또 네가 기도할 때에 위선자들같이 되지 말라. 그들은 사람들에게 보이려고 회당 안에서와 길 모퉁이에 서서 기도하기를 좋아하느니라. 진실로 내가 너희에게 말하노니 그들은 그들의 상을 받은 것이니라.”고 말씀하고 있다. 곧 기도한 것 사람들에게 나타내거나 알리지 말라는 것이다. 기도는 사람들에게 자랑하고, 소문내는 것이 아니라는 것이다. 그렇게 나타냈을 때는 그 상은 이미 끝났다는 것이다.

기도는 이렇게 하라고 마태복음 6장 6절에 “그러나 너는 기도할 때에 너의 골방에 들어가 방문을 닫고, 은밀히 계신 네 아버지께 기도하라. 그러면 은밀히 보시는 네 아버지께서 너에게 드러나게 갚아 주시리라.”고 말씀하고 있다. 곧 기도는 드러내지 않고 하는 것이고, 그 결과는 응답으로 하나님이 나타나게 해 주신다는 것이다. 곧 기도응답의 상급을 하나님이 친히 주신다는 것이다.

기도는 사람들이 모르게 비밀로 하고, 하나님과 동적인 대화를 하는 것이다. 이 대화의 내용이나 형식에 대해서 사람에게 드러내지 말라는 것이다. 그러면 기도한 내용의 응답이 온다는 것이다. “나는 기도한다.”하고 누군가에게 자랑을 하는 순간 그 기도는 상급이 없다는 것이다. 기도하는 사람은 기도만 한 것으로 끝나지 않는다. 무엇인가 믿음으로 행동하는 사람은 반드시 기도가 뒷받침이 되어 있는 것이다. 기도가 뒷받침이 되어 있는 행동하는 기독교인에게는 영향력이 어떤 형태로든 나타나게 되어 있다. 

즉 기도하는 사람은 행동하는 사람이고, 행동하는 기독교인은 믿음의 기도를 하는 사람이다. 어떤 중요한 일에 참여하지 않거나 행동하지 않는 않으면서 “나는 기도할게.”하는 사람은 믿음이 없는 사람이라고 성경은 말하고 있다.  야고보서 1장 22절로부터 25절에 “너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라. ~ 온전한 율법을 들여다보고 있는 자는 듣고 잊어버리는 자가 아니요. 실천하는 자니 이 사람은 그 행하는 일에 복을 받으리라.”

A practicing man; he is a Christian.

It is not too much to say that the characteristic of Christians is prayer. Prayer is to be done alone in the back room. It's something that nobody knows. I pray. I pray for a few hours a day. I also fasted on the 40th. To say, "I prayed," is like a boast. It is a manifestation of one's own righteousness. I say this is the kind of person I trust, and I'm arrogant. Prayer is a secret between God and himself. It is needless to say what prayer he prayed for. I don't have to say when I prayed or how many hours I prayed. Prayer is to build one's own virtue.

For the sake of sight, the prayer of telling a man is hypocritical. The Bible says that the Pharisees did such prayers. In the sixth and fifth parts of the Gospel of Matthew, "Do not be hypocrites again when you pray. They like to pray inside the synagogue and at the corner of the street to be seen. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward." What I have prayed for is not to show or let people know. Prayer is that it is not something that brags to people, and it is not something. By the time he showed up, the prize was over.

You have to pray like this Matthew 6:6: "But when you pray, enter your room, close your door, and pray to your Father, who is in secret. Then your father, who sees it in secret, will pay you back to the public." Prayer is to be unseen, and the result is that God will appear in response. In other words, God will give you the upper hand in answering prayers.

Prayer is to keep secret without the knowledge of men, and to have a dynamic conversation with God. Do not reveal the contents or format of this conversation. Then you will get a response from what you have prayed for. "I pray," the moment I brag to someone, the prayer is that there is no seniority. He who prays does not end up praying. He who acts by faith must be supported by prayer. Influence is supposed to appear in some form to an acting Christian backed by prayer.

In other words, he who prays is the one who acts, and the Christian who acts is the one who prays of faith. "I will pray," the Bible says, without taking part in anything important or acting, he is a man of faith. Sections 1 through 22 to 25 in Yagobos, "Do not be the one who does the word, and do not be the one who only hears and deceives himself. He who looks into the law in its entirety is not a man who hears and forgets. He who practices, this man will be blessed with what he does."
